We took Bodhi to Monsters U. He was in the Ergo and we sat on the end in case i needed to leave with him. I would probably take him to an adult movie right now, with the expectations that i may need to leave.
When DD was 3 1/2 months old, we went to see Paranormal Activity and she slept in the carrier the whole time. I would take Aidan to a movie, but we're not really moviegoers unless its something we HAVE to see in the theater.
Hello all, Aiden will be 1saturday and I have been to ths movies a few times since he was about 3 months. When he was smaller he would sleep, as he got older he wanted to talk and play so I nurse hik the whhooolleee time.
Charlotte has already been to 2 movies. One chain has "baby day" on Tuesdays before 2 - the sound is a little softer and they expect some crying. My mom and I saw The Heat, to get out of the house. They also serve food at your seat, so I had lunch too. lol
Then we took her and the boys to Despicable Me 2 last weekend. There were lots of babies there with older sibs.
She slept through both movies.
I've taken Leif to see Dispicable Me 2. He nursed during the open credits then slept on my chest. Loved it. I had a woman make a snotty comment about me being brave to bring him to the movies. I just told her he was more behaved than some of the other kids in the theater...of course I said it with a huge smile!
We have a local theater that does movies at 4pm specifically with infants in mind. Regular running films and only dimmed lights AND a changing table in the back. So cool. I went a lot with my first but you aren't allowed to bring over 18 month olds cause it is adult movies and they don't want the kids watching anything once they might understand a bit and once they get more active.
SO and I don't go to the movies much to begin with, but probably not. I don't wear Anna and while she's a good sleeper and quiet 90% of the time, I don't think I'd risk her having a bad day and wasting that money.
