How have you changed since joining our due date club? Did you learn something in the past 40+ weeks that you wanted to do try that you wouldn't have done otherwise?

I started meal planning, but that doesn't really have anything to do with our DDC. I did try baby wearing. But I don't really like my moby, so that's off the table, for now at least.

I'm planning on getting a moby this week. Why didn't you like it?

I just felt really awkward and like he was too loose in it. Mine was homemade from a seller on etsy, not the manufacturer so maybe that's why. Maybe I'm just not meant to babywear.

I have been more laid back as a parent than I thought I'd be. I had all of these expectations about what I would do vs. what I wouldn't do (like that I'd never offer a binky or get in the habit of rocking DD to sleep). I think after reading about how other parents parent, I have been much more open to doing what works.

You might have better luck with a mei tai! I have both a Moby and a mei tai and I like both but prefer the mei tai!

I'd say so far I've learned how amazing my body can be. The bfing has been so much easier this time around.

I looked at the mei tai and it definitely looks more comfortable and easier to manage. I'll have to look into getting one. Thanks for the advice.

Where do I begin? Baby wearing, cloth diapering, and breastfeeding.

Well I had done bed sharing before, but it's nice to see so many other moms here doing the same so I don't feel like I am doing something wrong

I haven't changed much but I love introducing others to things they may not have before.
