Since my parents were divorced and lived in seperate states, I always spent my summer out of state visiting whichever parent I wasn't living with at the time. Because of this, many of my summers I didn't see my friends at all. So, my favorite part of going back to school was seeing all my friends that I hadn't seen in 3 months.
I loved school. It was always very easy for me and I loved socializing from a very early age lol.
I hope my kids are well rounded. Math and science go without saying but I want them to also be able to speak and write the English language well (a huge pet peeve of mine) and I'm a huge history nerd so I would love if they inherited that from me.
My favorite part was back to school clothes shopping. I was super excited to do that for Lily now that she's starting kindergarten.
I loved school! I had great experiences with learning as well as socially.
I am hopeful that my children will be well-rounded like I was. I am perfectly happy with them choosing any subject that interests them (I am a history buff), but I would really love for them to be musically inclined. I played clarinet in the band, orchestra, and marching band. Some of my favorite memories are from band activities
My favorite part now is that my kids get back to a routine
I didn't really like school until college and law school.
DS1 is my math and science kid, DS2 is more language arts, DD! - i hope she enjoys something that will provide a flexible work schedule.
