Finding out you and your husband weigh the same. I am crushed, and if I wasn't depressed before I am now.

i weigh more than my dh...he's a svelte 155-ish 5'11 and i'm 210 at 5'4. I'm always embarrassed by it...i'd give anything to weigh the same as him! Of course i'd like to be less though. And he can eat whatever the heck he wants, its so frustrating

My SO is 140lbs soaking wet. He's almost 6'2. You can imagine how thin he is! He's basically a stick with legs. Haha. I weigh more than twice as much as him.

I'm sorry you're feeling so down about it! I'm sure you'll reach your weight loss goal, but until then, try not to feel so depressed about it. That body that you're resenting right now has created, nourished, and given birth to 4 beautiful, healthy children! Not only that, but being down about it only makes it harder for you to lose the weight. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself out loud that you are beautiful, sexy, and perfect. And mean it. I know it's not easy, believe me, but telling yourself you're ugly just brings you down, kills your motivation and then you're left in the same spot every day.

Hope I didn't sound too preach-y. I hope you feel better soon!! *HUGS*

I like the way you think Elise! My DH weighs less than me too and he eats and eats and doesn't gain. He drinks nothing but soda and sweet tea. Makes me sick sometimes but oh well. I try to look at the positives. I may be fluffy but I got an even more amazing rack from those extra pounds haha

I weigh moRe than DH and he is at his highest weight in 5 years.

Is David on board with supporting on this journey? Instead of beating yourself up, give yourself permission to move on and take action. I will help you through it. You should talk to Sami. She has lost an entire grown up in the past 3 years. She has been where you are right now and decided she was ready to do something about it.

My husband weights 120 on a heavy day. When I met him he weighed 112 pounds. Ridiculous. I weigh a LOT more than him. I probably will never weigh less than him, though I would love to, and I've had to come to accept that. He's just really small and as much as it makes me cringe whenever I think about how much I weigh vs how much he weighs, I have to just try to not let it get me down. I can totally understand why you are bummed about finding that out, but try not to let it get you down!

Please don't be embarrassed. Whenever I look at your pics I always see such a gorgeous family with a happy loving Mom. Your body has been through a lot the last 6 years.

My husband accidently put on my jeans last weekend in a rush because someone was knocking on the door. He then thought i was hilarious to tell me how he had to hold them up because they were baggy in the hips.

Hugs mama. You've grown 4 beautiful babies in that body!! You are beautiful inside and out! Mike told me once that I was catching up to his 245 and that was more then I needed to hear so I told myself that I would never catch up to him!
