Up until Sunday night Morgan was sleeping reliably through the night (8pm until at least 4am). The last 2 nights she is waking up every 2 hours. It is so frustrating. We are trying to break the swaddling habit as I know she is getting ready to roll back to front. I am just assuming that is the reason she isn't sleeping well. If we fall asleep on the couch she sleeps like a champ (because I'm holding her of course). I so wish we didn't get into the swaddling habit.

Porter wasn't sleeping that long of a stretch, but he's gone back to every 2-3 hours and I am missing those longer stretches! We swaddle him too and I know when the day comes to stop the swaddle it's not going to be fun! I'm attempting one arm out tonight, we'll see how it goes. Hope you get some sleep!

You guys can try a heavy sleep sack, too. They make the kind that you can bind the arms down. I think you can also leave the arms free and just bind the chest instead.

Here you go:
Microfleece SleepSack Swaddle - HALO Wearable Blanket

Henry has been up more the last few nights too. My usual 2 cups of coffee in the morning isn't quite doing the trick

Porter slept for 6.5 hours with his one arm out. Not sure if that had anything to do with him sleeping longer, but at least it didn't keep him up! He then ate and went back to sleep for a few more hours. I can handle that if he keeps doing it!

She did fine with one arm out. It wasn't until I stopped swaddling all together that she started waking up all the time. Last night was a little better. She slept from 8:30-1:30, back to bed at 2:30, then up at 3:30 again. After that we ended up crashing on the couch together. Hey, what can I say? Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I hope she gets used to no swaddle and goes back to sleeping well for you!

She only woke up once last night. Hopefully this trend continues.

Aubrey did the same thing and just past two nights she started back to her sleeping routine of 8:30-4:30. I think it is just a growing thing.

She is not swaddled.

This makes me so glad I didn't swaddle Tristan to get him to sleep! Took him a bit longer to Sttn but now I feed him and lay him down awake and off to dream land he goes. Course he dearly loves to rolling around til he finds the spot he wants to sleep lol
