What do you do with leftovers?
What did your parents do with them growing up?

I try to save them and eat them but neither I nor my DH like to so I usually end up tossing them
My parents always saved and ate leftovers...still do. They eat food that was cooked a week + ago. Yuck

It depends what it is. Sometimes I don't want to save leftovers because of what it is, but I always save spaghetti (we always make a TON of it) and chili.

It depends on what I made. Some things aren't that good the next day. We will have it for lunch or leftover dinner night the following day. My parents always saved leftovers too.

I save it and eat it. I've gotten better at cooking the right amount for supper. However, I've started making a big thing of something on Monday for lunch, and then eating on it all week. My parents saved and ate leftovers, still do. And when I'm home visiting them, I help them out

I save leftovers and eat them for lunch or a quick dinner on dance class nights. Sometimes I repurpose them- rotisserie chicken leftovers get made into a casserole, meatloaf leftovers get added to tomato sauce and used for baked spaghetti.

My parents always ate leftovers too. Usually the one or two nights a week my dad was out of town, we ate leftovers.

I try to cook 2-3 nights worth of food at once. Most stuff can be repurposed or jazzed up so it's not like the exact same thing reheated. We will have leftover pasta tonight. I eat leftovers for lunch too. My family always saved and used leftovers. We don't always manage to use everything and I'm not as insane as my dad is about using every last bit, but I do my best to use everything in a palatable way and well before it turns bad.

I purposely make 4 servings of dinner every night - 3 to be eaten and 1 to go in DH's lunch the next day. If I accidentally make more than 4 servings, I eat what's left the next day.

My parents always ate leftovers. Waste not, want not. I never knew until I was an adult that there were people who didn't eat leftovers. Just makes sense to me. Food is expensive, why would you throw it out?

my parents have btdt, I was a swimmer too! I was always starving!

We don't usually save much because I have a weird thing with leftovers. My parents hardly ever cooked.
