Y'all. I am going bald! I know that pp hair loss is normal, but I feel like this has to be too much! I mean, brushing my hair gives me a hairball bigger than my hand. Every. Single. Time. I constantly have hair all over me (and Porter) and when I take a shower I just want to cry. It's so thin on the sides that when I put it in a ponytail I can see my scalp. (Which was not the case before I was pregnant.) How I am not really bald already amazes me with the amount that comes out. I need my hair to stop falling out!
Ughhh! I cut mine after our wedding (which was 2 years ago in August) and my husband hated it. It is finally about as long as it was when we got married. I don't want to cut it off, though I know it would probably help it look a little better. I just cannot believe the amount that comes out when I brush it. It's unreal!
same here, i'm shocked i'm not bald yet. i already have thin hair but i can really notice how thin it is when i pull it back and i can see my scalp much more than i ever could. i didnt have this shedding after my last pregnancy so this is new to me. ugh i hope it goes away soon!
I went through that after having my older two. I've somehow managed to get lucky this time and my hair loss is minimal. However, I wouldn't be surprised if that changes soon so I went last weekend and cut 13in off my hair in hopes that if it does start falling out it won't be as noticeable.
Mine is falling out horribly. It was everywhere and my hair was pretty fine to begin with so it was terrible. I finally went and cut off about 6 inches this weekend and it feels a lot better and I don't notice the hair loss as much.
JaxonJocelyn Gabriel Grayson and due in September!
I normally have pretty thick hair, but I've been losing a ton of it over the last couple weeks. It's driving me crazy because it's getting EVERYWHERE. Every where I look, I find my hair. On Anna, on my SO, on my clothes that just came out of the dryer. Drives me crazy. ugh.
I hear ya!! I thought it would slow down for me by now since it started so soon this time (at 4 weeks pp). But it hasn't!! It's constant. I paste it to the shower wall (I wipe it off when I'm done) and it's soooo much. So you'd think no more would come out right away. Nope. Tons more when I comb my wet hair. Then more when I comb it up into a clip. Then gobs more at the end of the day when I take it out of the clip and run my fingers through it. And then it's the same the next day!! Even with wearing it up, somehow I still find it everywhere. I have bald spots on the sides and if I *attempt* to wear it down (holy more hair when I dry it), it just looks bizzare because it's so thin on top.
Thank goodness my hair was thick before. But seriously, this has GOT to slow down soon!! Then we have look forward to all the new hair growth that sticks straight up at the hairline. Lovely.
