So, I haven't gotten more than 3 hours of sleep in a row in weeks. I was getting to a point where I couldn't function fully. Last night after 2 hours of trying to get Porter to sleep I decided to put his arms back in the swaddle to see what would happen. Hoping for 4 or 5 hours in a row, which he would do on occasion before when he was swaddled. And guess what? He slept for eight hours! I do believe until it's necessary, arms will be going back in the swaddle! Because this mama needs sleep!

Finn absolutely won't sleep if he's not swaddled. I'm really not looking forward to the day (coming very, very soon) when he can't be swaddled anymore.

I'm dreading the day that Anna won't be swaddled. She won't sleep if she's not swaddled, so I know it's going to be rough. Glad you got some sleep!

Morgan is still not sleeping as well since we stopped swaddling. In fact, she just stopped crying after being put down about 20 minutes ago. She typically wakes up at least once during the night now, whereas she used to sttn religiously.

We are in the process of weaning Bodhi off the swaddle. He did well with 1arm out so tonight I am going to not swaddle. He has been trying to roll back to belly, so it's time.

I'm swaddling him again tonight and I'm really hoping that he sleeps for a long time again! Fingers crossed!

NINE HOURS. He slept for NINE hours! I actually had to wake him up because I have somewhere I have to be this morning. And, he stayed asleep from the very first try. Amazing.

Awesome!

We had the opposite problem with McKinley...she was waking up constantly. Turns out she HATES to be swaddled and wants to sleep with her arms up above her head. Since we stopped swaddling, she regularly sleeps 8-10 hours straight at night!!! And I have my sanity back!!!

Nice! Glad you figured it out! I.'me hoping he'll get used to sleeping longer & then I can start weaning off the swaddle again and maybe he'll continue. I can hope. Lol.

After his 8 & 9 hour nights the last two nights he has woken up multiple times. I really thought we were making progress, but I guess not!
