Here is a dream for my future when my children are grown. I want to take them on a family vacation every year. Imagine all my kids and grandchildren at the beach. Think Disney :

Really my dream is that they live close and stay close.

I just want my kids to be happy. I know that sounds cliche but it truly is my biggest dream for all 3 of them. I want them to grow up and do whatever it is that makes them happy and complete...whether they decide to become doctors, lawyers, mechanics, or sell fruit on the side of the highway. Whether they decide to go a 4 year college, community college, or no college at all. Whether they marry a man, woman, or no one at all. Kids or no kids, travel the world or never leave our hometown. I honestly do not care what they end up doing with their lives as long as they feel happy and fulfilled. When that happens, I will consider my job well done

This is what we should all want. I am selfish tough. I want them to live close. I want grandchildren

Happiness pretty much sums it up. I want them to be successful at whatever they choose. I want us to have a close relationship as they get older too

I want them to still love us and talk to us and visit us a lot. I want grandkids who I get to see a lot. I want them to be themselves and have that inner confidence that comes with it, authenticity. I have visions of them all grown up but that's more just projections. Like I see G being a big but gentle man who is a bit unassuming but has a great winning smile and affability. I see M being a very striking figure and the center of attention, full of enthusiasm and energy. I am actually sort of excited to see them as adults. I do love them as babies and LOs but ultimately I think it will be very fulfilling to see them all grown up. Infants are quite exhausting adorable but exhausting!
