My DH works from home (actually - his office is across the country and he goes out for 4 weeks a year). It makes it hard to get him things for Christmas as he does not need clothing for work, nothing for his office. He loves coffee and I am thinking of getting him a nice coffee/cappachino maker. I want something nice but not over the top. It would be great if one machine could do coffee, cap, and espresso. I would like to limit the number of appliances on the counter currently we have a Gevalia coffee maker that came free with our coffee order. I do not want the Keurig - as we go through way too many cups of coffee per day to spend the money on individual cups. Any suggestions - I would love it.

I wish I could help. I want a Keurig though since now they have the refillable single cup thing so I dont have to only buy already ready cups.

^^WSS - the Keurig brews individual cups of coffee, however, you don't have to buy K-Cups. Get the "my k-cup" and you fill it with your own ground coffee. I just buy regular coffee and use that 99% of the time. It's rare that we use k-cups. And it's a fresh, hot cup of coffee every time you want one! The mini is great for home offices, we got one for my mom a couple of years ago for Christmas. The mini you add water to it each time you want coffee, whereas the bigger ones have a water carafe and you don't have to fill it every time you want a cup.....I swear I don't work for Keurig!
