Where did you go on your honeymoon? What was the best part of it? What was the worst part of it?

We spent three weeks traveling through Turkey and Greece.

The best part was almost everything! We loved the culture, the food, the people, the sites. We visited seven different cities, and traveled by all kinds of transportation.

The worst part was the eight hour layover between buses from Nafplio to Olympia in Greece. We didn't have anywhere to store our luggage, and we were too far away from the town to go do anything, so we had to sit at the bus station for 8 hours. Runner up: sleeping in the Athens airport for our last night.

Jamaica- Sandals
Best part: scenery & all inclusive resort
Worst part: I felt guilty because hubby didn't like laying on the beach all day.

We went to Punta Cana and stayed at the Hard Rock Resort. The best part was laying on the beach and by the pool. The worst part was missing our flight the morning after the wedding and having to cancel and rebook, which cost SO much more. (Thankful for Expedia insurance though! Otherwise we would have lost all our money.) Then having a hurricane (Irene) headed towards us. It ended up being downgraded to a tropical storm, but it rained like crazy the last several days we were there. And then on the way home our flight left like 2 hours late (though no one ever said why or that it was even delayed) and we missed our connecting flight in Charlotte and had to stay the night there.

We went to Sedona, Arizona.

The best part - the helicopter ride through the amazing red rock canyons and mountains.

The worst part - it was too short! We were only there for 3 days because MIL was watching Fiona at home for us (Fiona was 10 months old when we got married.)

Both my marriages I didn't have a honeymoon. With my first we were already in FL getting married and Katrina came through and cancelled our plans of a cruise or going further south to like Miami or something. Then a month later I ended up pregnant with Aidan. This marriage, I was already 6 months pregnant when we got married.

We went on a cruise a few months after our wedding. We got married on DH's college fall break and waited until December when he graduated. It was a 10 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean- St. Thomas, Domenica, Curaçao, Barbados, Margarita Island off Venezuela. Best part- there was so much to do. We did a lot of excursions, the food was awesome, our dinner table mates were wonderful, and we had a great time in the casino each night. The worst part- we missed Christmas at home. We were in Curaçao on Christmas Day.

The airport area of Charlotte is pretty boring/sketchy. It would have been nice if you could have gone into our uptown area- tons to do and really nice.

We never went on a honeymoon. We've never taken any type of vacation, actually, only ever travelled to go back home to visit family. One of these days, maybe.

We went to big bear and camped. It was so much fun and relaxing! I can't think of a con to be honest!

Yeah... It was a little sketchy. We got there at night and our new flight left at like 7 am. So we didn't have much time. But we stayed in some pretty crappy gross hotel. Our room smelled so bad that I got us moved to a new one, but it smelled too. And they only had double beds available. Lol. Not the best ending to our honeymoon, but that's ok.
