Who is making their own? I have been for about 2 weeks. Just doing pears, apples, bananas, peaches, sweet potatoes, carrots and squash. Need to try prunes today. Elli got a little constipated. I bought a container of babyfood prunes. She loved them and pooped 5 times yesterday Such a happier baby once she pooped. I am thinking just a tbs of prunes per day may help. She seems to love her food (brings her head to the spoon). What have others been making?

I planned on making baby food, but we have a pretty small freezer and I worry about not having space to store it. I can't even have a large BM stash for the same reason. Morgan has had apples and sweet potatoes. She LOVES the sweet potatoes, but is meh about the apples. I think bananas are next on the new-food menu.

I actually don't freeze. I have the Baby Beaba which is super easy. When I get up in the morning, I usually steam it while in the shower. I cut the squash and keep it in chucks in the fridge so I just need to pop in 3-4 pieces in the steamer. Steam and blend and it is enough for 2 days. I then do a pear (or apple), and that is enough for two days (along with the squash). So I make 2 days worth every other day. Also, I will do a 1/3 of a banana for something fresh if I am out of the other fruit. Since I have a 9 yo and a 11 yo, we always have fresh fruit and veggies on hand. I can steam and shower. When I get out of the shower, it is about 30 seconds to blend.

I've been making my own. I've made squash and sweet potatoes. I give him bananas whole and avocados whole. I need to make my pear and apple that I bought into food and get him to try that. So far his favorite is Avocado followed closely with sweet potatoes.
