Sometimes Morgan's hands and/or feet will turn bluish purple. Usually they are cold to the touch when they do, but not always. I am planning on bringing this up at her 6 month checkup on Tuesday, but I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this with their babies.

Payson usually has it if Kyle is holding her to tight or if her legs are not level.

Do they get a tinge like she's reacting to a room being too cold or do all her extremities turn that color no matter the room temperature?

What about around her lips and her tongue?

If she has a bluish look to her skin all over her body I'd take her to the ER.

Purplish/bluish on the hands/feet for a short amount of time is normal. But if you're seeing it in high blood areas (like mouth, genitals, etc) and/or all over then that means she isn't getting enough oxygen.

when Aidan was really little, like a month old, if I held him too right, his arm and leg on the side against my body would turn purplish until I let him go.

Her face and trunk never turn. It is only her extremities. If I massage her hands or feet they quickly turn pink again.

I'll notice that with Emerson sometimes
She loves to take off her socks and her feet get cold and this happens
