Have any BFing moms who went dairy free started eating dairy again? I started very slowly about a month ago. I started with not reading labels looking for hidden dairy to eating things with small amounts of dairy. For the last week or so I've been eating cheese freely and even had a bowl of cereal with milk. Morgan hasn't seemed to be affected, but yesterday I noticed the start of a diaper rash. It could be nothing but now I'm starting to get paranoid. Would a rash take almost a month to show up?

I tried a week and a half ago. Went to a dinner party that had lobster in a cream sauce. Thought - well it is time to try since Ellianna is 6 months. Oh my - what a difficult weekend. Needless to say, I am DF again However, I think you are golden. I bet the diaper rash in unrelated. It could be teething (Dr. will say teething does not cause diaper rash - however, with all three of my kids there was a red hinder and then another tooth.)

A woman I work with said her son also got diaper rash before each tooth. Maybe that's it. She's also had a stuffy nose the past few days. Who knows....

I tried dairy at Thanksgiving and ended up with an unhappy baby, and his diaper rash came back. I went back to DF and the rash went away

Sometimes the nose runs when teeth are about to pop through. Cheeks can also get red

Interesting. We've been dealing with both. I recently had a cold and my cheeks can get quite red, so I figured I was the culprit for both issues.
