I think it sounds like a lot of fun. I wanted to buy one but it was too expensive, lol. So next year, maybe! I think the doll is really creepy but the idea behind it is hysterical. I think Alex would get a real kick out of it
'Scuse the bad typing, please. 'Breast is Best' but not when browsing the internet!
This was our first year doing it - Fiona LOVES it, and I'm looking forward to it becoming a yearly tradition, and Finn growing up with it. I thought the elf was a little creepy looking at first too, but you get used to it.
We did for several years. Now the boys are a little too old for it (no way they believe in the elf as the oldest does not believe in Santa). Ellianna is too young for it. Hopefully we will be doing it again in a year or two.
Yes, and we love it! Connor finds so much joy in it, even when the elf just moves from place to place - which is what he did mostly this year. I did a few creative things with him, which were very fun! I wish I had more props and things to use with him so he could do more creative things! Last night he built a fort/castle with the mega blocks and was hiding inside of it. Tonight, on the last night, he will bring some Christmas pajamas and a couple goodies and write a goodbye message on the chalk board.
