I swear I get less sleep when I co-sleep with Zack. Normally he doesn't come to sleep in my bed till his 2/3 am feeding and stays there till we get up for the day. The other night the only way to calm him after the whole discomfort with the rash, was to nurse him in bed and we both fell asleep. I kept him in bed with me all night. I think he woke up at least 4 times in which we roll to nurse on the other boob. Last night he started out in my bed and after his 3 am feeding I stuck him in the bassinet next to the bed and he slept till 7:30. I love co-sleeping but man he seems to love whining and getting more boob on demand. lol He's slept more in our bed then the girls combined. I think the comfort level grew with each baby.

My mother insists that Henry wakes up more when he sleeps with me because of the easy access. I don't agree. We have good nights and we have not so good nights. This age is tricky with them learning so much about the world around them. I totally agree with you about being more comfortable with it with each child.

I tended to co-sleep more during the day rather than the night. I need to stretch out to get comfy in order to sleep well.

I also booted Alex out at 2 months because he made too much noise in his sleep. Rory does too but, sadly, I can't kick him out yet I love my baby but I honestly can't wait for things to get figured out so I can get better sleep! lol
