I am off all day. I want to make a gingerbread house with my older two. We have church at 4:00 (when my boys are in the play). Then to my parents for dinner. I will then whip up the peach french toast that is refrigerated overnight so it can be popped in the over on Christmas. The boys may go to my BIL's house with DH on Christmas Eve after my parents' house - but that is too late for Ellianna. I may just cuddle with her in the big chair and find a Christmas movie on the television while they are gone.

Christmas Eve we will have a lot of prep to do. We have Mass at 8pm and at least dh and oldest dd will also go to midnight mass. My 2nd DS wants to make tamales for dinner which is a break from tradition for us. He also wants to cook lasagna for Christmas Day. We haven't found out yet when dh will be home or how long he can stay. I still have everything to do OMG.

My parents and maybe some of DH's family will come over to hang out. We may try to attend the 3p mass with Connor if DH can get off work early enough. Once Connor goes to bed it will be GO TIME! and we'll have to assemble the kitchen, the basketball hoop, and a power wheels!

I've got last minute gifts to put together in the morning. I'll also be baking bread, muffins, and prepping my potato casserole for Christmas brunch. In the evening we'll go to my parents' for my family Christmas celebration. My dad is making gumbo which is dairy free for me, instead of the usual ham and potatoes. After dinner we'll exchange gifts with my parents, my sister, and her kids. My MIL always joins us so she's not alone on Christmas Eve, and this year my sister's ILs will be there. Then we'll go back home to prepare for Christmas morning.

We're having a casual family get together for Christmas Eve - we have tourtičre, a traditional French Canadian meat pie - for dinner. My step-mum is going to be making mincemeat pies and I've got a ton of baking to do too. Cookies for Santa, as well as cookies, muffins and my famous apple pie for DH's Christmas present and Christmas dinner's dessert. And I've got to track down all the stocking stuffers and Santa presents that I've got hidden around the house and wrap them all.

We will make Christmas cookies and watch the muppet Christmas carol. Once the kids are in bed we will wrap presents and play Santa!

Arthur and I are going to my old church for service, DH and MIL will be going to her church for service, and then we'll come back here, make homemade hot cocoa, open the new pj's my parents sent for us, and watch Polar Express. At some point my BIL and SIL will bring their kids over, and everyone is spending the night so we can all be here for Christmas morning. It's going to be rough. My FIL passed away in October, and you can just feel his absence.
