Are you giving them something and then waiting a few days before introducing them to a new food? I've been giving Zack pieces of what I've been eating the last couple days and he's done great so I am going to stop making pureed stuff and just cook and feed him pieces of stuff. I know he's done great with sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, apples, blueberries, eggs (scrambled) and breads. I started out giving him something and then waiting but he's been doing so well that I stopped. I gave him blueberries and garlic bread today and he'd never had either yet. I will still give him the pureed stuff I've made so far but I wont make anymore. The boy sure loves his food.
I haven't been waiting. I've just been giving him what we're having for supper. But they're very low allergy foods, so I haven't been too worried. But I have been trying to limit to just a few new foods a week, it's less overwhelming. We're not adventurous eaters, so it's really easy to do that.
I'm lucky I guess, because Finn has loved and devoured everything we've given him. I don't wait between new foods, I just give him bits of whatever we're having as long as it's not too salty or spicy. I stay away from giving him any kind of junk food - sugary desserts, fried anything, etc
