i just started a few nights ago (hailey also has 5 teeth now)...i use one of those little rubber finger brush things lol (do they have a name??) i just want to get her used to it and make it part of her bedtime routine along with her brother doing so (and hoping it encourages him to brush more too!)

Finn technically doesn't have any yet...you can see them and feel them just under the gums, but they haven't broken through yet. We've been brushing his gums with one of those finger brush thingies for a few weeks now, since he really started teething. We didn't do it with Fiona when she was a baby because she didn't get her teeth until later, and by the time we tried to add it to her nighttime routine, it became a huge battle. She absolutely hated it. So I think getting going on it with Finn before the teeth have actually come in will make it easier to become a habit. We do it while he's in the bath.

Isabel cut her first tooth a couple days ago and we are brushing once a day now with just water.
