Saturday night I'm going out with some girlfriends for dinner...with no baby. It shouldn't make me this happy to leave him with DH, but he's been teething and clingy and cranky, and I just need some space.
Lily has school on Saturday morning to make up a snow day. Saturday evening is Lily's father/daughter dance at school. DH is all excited because he ordered her a wrist corsage. She'll love that. Sunday we'll be spending at my SIL's house. DH's twin is in town for the weekend.
Hanging out at the house on Saturday since Lillie with be with her dad all day and night and DH is taking my car to work so I won't have a carseat for Aidan.
Sunday, my youngest BIL's fiance and I are taking Lillie and Aidan to see Frozen Sing Along.
Superbowl party! DH's family gathering for Christmas was too late at night for us (Ellianna needs to be home around 7:00 when it started) and then the kids were sick so we did not see them. They are coming over for the SuperBowl and I am making lots of food and have a fridge of beer THis is a big night out for us even though it is in our house.
Then on Friday (this one coming) three other mamas and I are taking our sons to see the Lego Movie and going to dinner afterwards. I am really excited. It will get a night out with three ladies and we will just all have our 9 year old boys with us. The boys will all chat on their own at dinner and I get adult ladies conversation. I know it seems pathetic that I am excited about a night at a kids movie with four 9 year olds. I am in need of some adult female interaction though - and us ladies should have fun. DH is keeping Ellianna
