Do you think it's cute? Whenever I see it, I just don't "get it". As a personal family decision, we just would not do this, however, I just don't understand why OTHER people do. I think babies are cute without make up. I guess some people think both are cute and it's fun. So, what do you think?

No makeup here. I wouldn't want anything to hide Morgan's beautiful face.

he only thing I would use on a child is chapstick - and for the intended purpose. I cannot see any reason to place makeup on a child.

My 6 year old has to wear specific makeup for dance competitions as part of her costume, but that is the only time. I didn't start wearing makeup until high school and that was just concealer and lip gloss. My girls are beautiful just the way they are

My 6 year old did dance and they told me to put make up on so she wouldn't be washed out on stage.

I told them where to stuff it And she looked just fine on stage but I totally understand why some parents do go for the make up in these cases. We almost felt pressured into it ourselves. This does at least make WAY more sense to me than make up on a BABY, but of course, to each their own. I just don't understand the purpose when babies are SO cute without it!

We also did makeup for dance recitals, but that's it. Fiona thinks she looks weird with makeup on and couldn't wait to get it off after the recital. And I agree - she's gorgeous without makeup. I think her natural beauty is astounding, she's very lucky.

Nope and My 5 year old is in dance and they tell us not to put makeup on them. I think it's kind of crap that some dance schools and pageants have kids so young put all that crap on their faces. Let their natural beauty show.

I dont think you should put makeup on babies or young kids unless there is a reason such as pageants or dance. I think they look better without it. I did tho put makeup on my daughter a couple times whenever she was in pageants. It was just cover up and clear lip gloss.

Jaleigh does dance and wears some makeup for recitals. Other than that, absolutely no makeup whatsoever for many more years. I wasn't allowed to wear anything until 8th grade so it ain't happening for my girls anytime soon.
