Even by Isabel's adjusted age (10 months) some babies are walking, but by Isabel's real age, she's a week shy of 1 year and still only takes 1-2 steps at a time. Is she the only one here who still isn't walking? Her therapists still think she will be caught up before 2 years, but right now she seems to be yo-yoing between on track and a little behind.

Cognitively, I thinks she is almost on track, but not talking much. She does follow some directions, like dances when we tell her dance, and she shows some word recognition (when asked to pick between multiple choices, she correctly picks cat, dog, fish, and bird when we say the word and make the animal noise).

I'm in no rush for her to grow up, but I feel torn because at the same time I want her to be cognitively and physically caught up/healthy. Having two kids with cognitive disorders (autism and PDDNOS) perhaps I worry just a tad...

Sounds like She is just fine! Hailey isn't walking yet. Almost, but not yet, Usually babies are Walking by 15 months. We do seem to have a lot of early walkers in here though!

Porter has only been crawling for a few weeks. Not even pulling all the way up or standing on his own yet. He'll be 1 on the 26th. I know I didn't walk until 14 or 15 months.

Arthur isn't walking yet either. He's close, but just not quite there yet, and he turned 1 on May 22.

Leona is also not walking. She can kneel, but does not pull up or stand yet.

Thanks everyone <3 I'm glad she's not the only one. I'm sure all our babies will be walking soon though and then we'll want them to just sit still again hehehe

Zack is walking but My oldest was born at 36.2 weeks and under 5 lbs and I was told she would catch up by 2 and she did. She also didn't start walking till she was 11 months and the others were earlier. So I am sure she is going to wake up one day and be running. Hugs mama

Thanks My other 3 were botn 36, 35, and 37 weeks. (now that I think of it, ALL my babies were born on "exact weeks" haha) My 35 and 36 weeker walked around 12-13 months. my 37 weeker walked around 10-11. I thought maybe with Isa's progress she would walk by 1 year, but now the last 2 days she doesn't even want to try anymore. She might be a late walker.
