She said it may be low iron, but she didn't do the iron levels as it was a routine test. So basically all it tested was for anemia but not anything that might indicate what would be causing the anemia if it was there. I guess that makes me feel a little better? I don't understand why they wouldn't bring her in to THEIR office to check iron levels, though, and I didn't think to ask and don't want to keep calling back because I feel like a pest I guess I'll learn more on Monday. I just wish they had indicated some reason for the referral out.
