I know everyone is different, and couples take on average 6-12 months to conceive, but how long were YOU TTC?

13 cycles. The last two were on 50mg of Clomid after a PCOS diagnosis. My estrogen isn't high enough for me to get pregnant on my own anymore.

14 months but 16 or 17 cycles (forgot how many exactly but I had a couple that were shorter)
I was told by a women's specialist that it takes an average of 15 months now for the average couple to conceive...although I'd take what she said with a grain of salt because she told me I couldn't get pregnant the cycle that we did.

Two IVF cycles plus a frozen embryo transfer using a couple that were left over. Giving a time in months would be inaccurate since we wanted a baby longer, but trying on our own wouldn't work.

i will sound silly...but 1 month The first month that we decided to give it a fair try. I thought i had PCOS and was unable to conceive so when we decided on green light i was certain it would take more than a year, i'd go on medication and then maybe we would be successful. Imagine my surprise when i discovered that i didn't have PCOS but ovaries of polycystic texture. Completely different thing ....sometimes the doctors are full of &^$%

Thanks ladies. I am going on month 10 now, started spotting today, but I guess I should keep 15 months in mind!

We were TTC for 27 months but 28 or 29 cycles because mine are shorter. I have endo and was sure it would take us time to get pg. After 16 months we were married and started with a RE. He was pretty sure I was Oing on my own with the looks of my charts. But then in August he put me on clomid and I got awful pain and cysts from Oing. He then decided that if I was Oing on my own before it was not strong enough eggs to get pg. So the whole almost 2 years that we were TTC before the clomid was a waste. But after 3 rounds of clomid and a HCG trigger shot in Nov. We got pg in Dec on a break cycle.

Wow, I wish we'd have gotten lucky early. I have PCOS, Endo, and am progesterone deficient. It took us 4 years, lots of drugs, and tears. I was at the point of going back in to start IVF treatments when I found out I was preggo. Lol, I told the docs to take the blood twice and give me a U/S just to PROVE it.

It only took me and DH one cycle of really tracking and trying to get pg. But we had done nothing to prevent for the previous 3+ years and never got pg. I guess it really pays to use OPK's and do lots of BD'ing on the right days.

We started trying October 2007 and got pregnant Feb. 2009. We were about to start a cycle of Clomid and IUI. Good luck hun! Looks like the majority of us know how frustrating this journey can be. In the end, it will all be worth it to hold that VERY loved baby in your arms.

It took us about 4 years. I have PCOS, endo, and luteal phase defect. We got pregnant with injectables and IUI.
