Closing went well, we even got to move some stuff in. I feel so behind though. I got most of the kitchen packed up, but there is still soooo much to do. I get tired just thinking of it! Hopefully Saturday we will be able to spend the night at the house. It already feels like MINE. MY house.

I hate that our bodies are soooo confusing. I noticed a bit if discharge just now when I went to the bathroom. It wad clesrish and creamy. So I looked it up and a bit of dischrge is normal before AF but copious amount could be a sign of pregnancy. Well what is copious? I noticed it which I normally don't... So what does that mean? Probably means I will start soon.

Alrighty! Plan for this cycle. Starting vitex for real, be better at temping and going to the doctor not this or next week but maybe the week after that! (Unless God smiles on me and it looks like I am going to O in two weeks rather than 4.) I don't feel
all that optimistic, but I guess I will
still try.

I know I posted this all on the main board, but I want it in my journal so I can keep an easy record of it. (Besides! It's my journal I can do what I want to! )
I went to the doctor today to talk about some of my concerns about my cycle. When I went in to see them in March, they said that I needed to just relax (yeah right) and have fun and it would happen on it's own, and that if I wasn't pregnant in May to come back. Well...here I am in July, still not pregnant. Granted at the end of June we did move and we were actually too exhausted for sex. Go figure. So I went in today...nervously. I definitely cried to the male nurse who remembered me from when I cried the time they drew my blood. That was sort of embarassing, but also really nice that their people are so good that they remembered me from January. Anyway, I had to wait forever, and another nurse came in and said that my doctor was backed up and asked if I wanted to wait for her or to see the next available doctor. I told her that I'd see the next available doctor. I just really wanted to talk to SOMEONE, anyone! I'd only seen Dr. Scott once and a nurse practitioner once, so I'm not all that attached yet. So the doctor came in and introduced herself as Casey. Not Dr. So-in-so. I was pretty impressed. So she asked me what I wanted to talk about. I told her that really, I would like to see what I can do to get my cycles closer together. There is just SO much stuff on the internet. I hate combing through it, and I can never tell what is true and what is not. She agreed that coming to the doctor was probably the best option. She did at first tell me that I needed to relax. I told her I wasn't overly good at that, but that the last two cycles we hadn't tried at all hardly and still nothing. So she said basically, they can't do anything about me having six week cycles, but did admit that it is hard to conceive when you don't fit more closely with what is considered average. She said that she had no concerns whatsoever about me having PCOS. She said that the odds of that are very low, but that she'd send me to another OBGYN who specialized in fertility issues just in case. I just looked the doctor up on google and she seems to have gotten pretty good reviews. However, they can't get me an appointment until November. So in the meantime we are going to try a "provera challenge." Now I'm going to admit, I don't understand all the mechanics of this challenge but I'll explain the best I can. All that I've ever heard about provera is to help people with PCOS specifically start their period after they haven't had one for a while. The doctor said that is one use. She said it can also be used to stimulate ovulation. The way she explained it to me is that we are scheduling my period, thus scheduling my ovulation. I don't know. She said that lots of women have gotten pregnant using this method. My question is, why is it only used for 3 months? It wasn't expensive. It was $10.50 without my insurance and $6.50 with it. I don't know. Anyway, she was talking about how you have to start it on CD 16 and take it for 10 days. She said she wanted me to start next cycle. I said "Um....I'm on CD 14 now..." She laughed and said "Wow...you're not keeping track at all." So I start provera Saturday. She said that even if this goes textbook, and I do this, and start exactly when I'm supposed to with the provera and still end up not pregnant, that doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with me, but she's still going to send me in to the specialist. She does want to see me next month though to see how things are going. I think I'll probably ask her to go ahead and do an SA on DH then too. (If I'm not pregnant.) She was VERY, and I mean VERY!!!! positive about this. So I'm hoping that this works, and truly hoping that I only have to take one shot at it.
I went and bought some lingirie and some fun things today. I texted DH earlier to tell him that he better get ready for a marathon of sex. (I don't think he minds, but I bought the stuff to keep it fun and not make it tedious.) I'm really putting quite a few eggs in this basket. I really hope it works and that I don't have to go to the specialist. Anyway....I think that's it..

Stephenie! I'm so glad you loved the doc you ended up seeing. Seems like it was fated for your previous doctor to be backed up so Casey could swoop in and settle your nervous heart. I'm very excited for you this cycle, because so many of your fears were laid to rest- and the anxiety you were experiencing could have been putting a damper on your babymaking chances!
Looking forward to finding out how the Provera works for you, and hoping you won't even need three months' worth.

Day 1 of the Provera. Woohoo. I took it at noon, so I will probably try and do that every day for the next 10 days. (It says to take it with food so that seems to be as good a time as any.) The onlyh problem is that I can't seem to find a whole lot of information about the actual medication and success/failure rates. Maybe that's a good thing... I dunno.
I just put the lingirie on and I was going to surprise DH with it later, but I felt so sexy in it that I had to show him right away to just tease him. The sex marathon seems to be going well and should not get boring anytime soon!

Gosh! Today freaking blows! I forgot my wallet so I had to make DH mad byaking him come get me for lunch. A student told me I didn't know anything about my job. I'm sorry you entitled *****. You have a masters degree so you MUST be smarter than I am! Come do my job and see how well you do. Then DH and I got in a fight, my sister was snippy with me and my mom just told me to get over it. Ugh!

Remember how I said I had a good feeling about this cycle? It's still there! It usually goes away after O time, but not this time! I still feel like we got it! And even fo se reason we didn't (I'm saying this now bc I am overly optimistic) there's still a great chance fir next month and even the month after that! I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up, but I truly believe we got it this time... And even though it is early still, I crashed at 10:30 last night and had to fight to stay awake till 10 even! I just drank a diet coke and it made my stomach hurt pretty bad. That isn't a PMS sign for me. It gives me cramps but not stomach pains! I can't wait to test!
