First I wanted to say I am new to just mommies. We have only been trying a few months, but it is already frustrating.

Well, like clockwork. I got my period. It was almost to the minute that I got it last month. I wanted to be pregnant by now but we can't always get what we want I guess. With my luck, I will end up getting pregnant this month, which means the baby will be due in May. We were trying to avoid that so that DS would not feel left out when he was older. We also did not want to get pregnant in December so that each child would have their own special month for a birthday.

I have figured out that I have been doing it wrong. I was picking the day I ovulate (according to my charts) or the day after instead of a few days before. We will be trying before from now on. I am also considering getting a fertility monitor, but I may wait until next month.

It is also really hard to find time to have sex. The little guy has a radar some where that I can't find. When hubby and I are home together, he is not content to stay in his room and watch a video. He will always come downstairs or find us. I don't know there is something that is just mood killing about an almost 3 year old looking at you in disgust and confusion. I am going to have to start making myself wake up at night to do it. I mean if it is quick we can do it in five minutes and I can go back to sleep.

I am not sure how these work. DO people just use them to vent? DO people ask questions? I am clueless.

Well, this month we are going to try baby making duty every day. There is a voice in my head that is laughing at that. I doubt it will happen. I think because we are trying this time, it is more frustrating.
