I had a period on June 1st then didn't have one until July 26. Both of them were about 7 or 8 days. I'm under the impression that you count 12 to 14 days from the day you start your period. I was told that the length of your period determines when you ovulate so how would I calculate my o date after an 8 day period? Any one ever figure it out personally?

they usually last about 5 days but i had an iud removed in middle of April and that is only my second period since Feb 2008, so I'm not sure if they will go back to normal.
