haha, I know that feeling! BB is will be here in 2012. We are scheduled for induction 12/27 but everyone is betting mid December. Between 12/12 and 12/18 seem to be the popular dates. I have an u/s scheduled 12/6 so I will be curious if they check my cervix then too. I will be 36 weeks and 2 days then.

Wow, why do you have to have an induction? That might be a little reasurring that you know you will have a baby by the 27th. I'm afraid baby is breech because all the movement I feel is way down low (likes she's trying to kick my plug out!). I have another ultrasound tomorrow I'm excited I'm hoping baby will cooperate so we can get a confirmed gender reading, we are only guessing a girl right now!! Are you still nervous as this is your third child? Or is it just like riding a bike? haha

We are having an induction because of convenience really. I know a lot of people don't agree and its a little controversial but...kids will be out of school so it would be easy to plan, if she is born in 2012 she is "paid for", if we are still in the hospital January 1st we have to pay another deductible. Plus we get the tax credit lol. But I don't think we will make it that far anyway. I just hope we aren't in the hospital Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Not sure how we would pull off Santa that way.
When I had DD I was much more relaxed since it was so soon after DS, but she is 7 1/2 and I feel like a FTM now. There is so much with the pregnancy I don't remember and I'm nervous about knowing I'm in labor, and all kinds of things.

How are you feeling as its getting closer to time? Any reason you think she will be here in 2012? What time is your u/s today? I hope you get to confirm she is a she!

I do get to confirm its a she!! yay!! She squirmed so much during the u/s it was so funny! I work nights for another two weeks so I'm on here at really weird hours hahaha. I didn't know you could schedule inductions! US healthcare is confusing, I just can't imagine having to pay for hospital/drs visits! I'm starting to get nervous about being in labour, but I'm more nervous about once the baby comes home. My DH is completly clueless, but he pretends he isn't. He's younger then me and has had no contact with children except for his nephew who is only 6 months old. Everytime we go over to see him he plays with the dog and ignores the baby... oi!
Did you have long labours? I'm worried about how much pain i'll be in, is it constant pain for like 7 hours?

I actually had pretty easy labor and deliveries with the 1st 2 and they say that each one can be faster so hoping for an easy one!
They use to schedule inductions after 37 weeks if you wanted it or there was a reason, now they will do it after 39 weeks. We have a scan scheduled for 36 weeks and if she isn't growing to satisfaction we will be induced at 37 weeks with her. I had my DS at 36 and DD at 37 weeks.

What do you mean growing to satisfaction? Is baby little? I'm a little clueless about this stuff! I was at the dr today and he said baby is 4 lbs 7 oz already. which I take is good but now I'm scared that if baby gains a pound a week she's gonna be huge!!!

She is little. At 32 weeks they estimated 3pounds 7 oz. As long as she is continuing to grow on the same pattern they will leave her. But if it slows any they will induce.
Hope you had a great turkey day.

ohhhhh well lets hope she keeps growing! No turkey day for me, I'm Canadian haha that was last month! Were your other LO small as well? My mom had me at 32 weeks for the same reason and I was only 2'2. I was terrified that I was going to have the same issues as my mom did.

Haha after I posted that I realized our holidays are different. DS was 6lbs 11 oz at 36 weeks and spent a week in the nicu. DD was 7 lbs 1 oz at 37 weeks and perfectly healthy. Monday I will be 35 weeks. We packed my bag today and got some of our final stuff done. Are you planning on working up til delivery?

,they were good sizes then. No I'm done work at the end of the month, its getting to be too much. I come home from work so incredibly sore its not worth it. Thankfully I can start pregnancy leave 10 weeks prior to my due date. That's the plan anyway I was in a lot of pain today and its gone down some but I'm going to try to get in to see the Dr Mon or Tues. I think I might be stressed too which isn't helping. My father just had surgery on Thursday for a fibrous blockage around his kidneys and I just got told that my grandmother who I'm really close to just had a heart attack and isn't doing so well. It doesn't rain it pours I suppose.

OMG sore isn't even the right word. I was near tears rolling over Saturday night. DH was wanting me to call on call dr thinking BB was coming and I kept arguing that its just muscles and bone seperating that hurts. I sat with a heating pad in my crotch all day yesterday lol. It was quite a site. And DH said as soon as I got out of bed yesterday that she has dropped. I can breath better but dang she is hurting the lower parts now.
Are your pains all gone now?

She has dropped and yesterday I lost part of my MP, and was having menstrual like cramps. Ended up at dr hooked up to monitor. The nurse came in and said it looks like I'm having contractions. The nurse practitioner said I'm not. Was a little confused by it. She did an exam and said I'm starting to thin but not dialated so that was good. I need her to stay put for 2 more weeks.
Since you are in Canada I'm guessing texting would be outragous charges. Was trying to think of an outside of JM way to communicate....

ooh scary!! all these babies want to come early!!!! I check my facebook and gmail on my phone which is easier. I can't remember if I ever put my name up on the Facebook list, its Courtney Boeve-Sabol if you think that might be easier! I just double checked and its 25 cents a msg to msg someone from the states even if you have a plan. That is so stupid!!!
I saw my Grandmother yesterday, she wants to go home all ready hehe she's in good spirits but I got conflicting reports from my aunt and the nurses so I'm not sure who to believe. My grandmother got my DH so excited she told us to stop by the house and pick up a cake she made for me (which I promptly scolded her for) and he's all excited cause he thinks he's getting food (he's like a dog) it was a diaper cake! hehehehe
