I made these several times last time around, when I was back at work and pumping. I never had trouble with milk supply until about 6-7 months out, and then it got tough. These really did help! They are not tasty (I did not like the brewer's yeast flavor), but hey...whatever works!
Lactation cookies for Breastfeeding moms
1 Cup margarine
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup brown sugar
4 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp flaxseed meal*
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour (wheat used in calculating nutrition info)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 Cups oats (thick cut if you can find them)
2 generous Tbsp brewer's yeast**
1 Cup chocolate chips, raisins, etc. (NOT included in nutrition info)
*Can be found at any health food store.
**It MUST be brewer's yeast!
Preheat oven at 375 degrees F. Mix together 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal and water, set aside for 3-5 minutes. Cream (beat well) margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mix well. Stir flaxseed mixture and add with vanilla to the margarine mix. Beat until blended. Sift together dry ingredients, except oats and chocolate chips (if using). Add to margarine mixture. Stir in oats then chips. Scoop or drop onto baking sheet, preferably lined with parchment or silpat. The dough is a little crumbly, so it helps to use a scoop.
Bake 8-12 minutes, depending on size of cookies.
Yields: 6 dozen cookies
Number of Servings: 82

I have to say that they don't sound very tasty, but I might be willing to try them, considering that the herbal supplement (chalk it up to pregnancy brain because I can't think of the name, but it makes you smell like maple syrup) didn't do anything for me.
Fenugreek - it just popped into my head. I could not think of it yesterday for anything! It helped my friend immensely so I gave her the rest of mine. I was more than happy it went to good use for someone.
