Mine has both, but you can't see the footboard. Its really low, and the comforter covers it. Its from Ikea.

at the moment i have a mattress on the floor LOL
WE had a waterbed, then got rid of the waterbed mattress and got a regular mattress to put in the waterbed frame. Now we are getting rid of the waterbed frame, so I sleep on a mattress on the floor while we look for a box spring and a frame. Its fun to do when your husband is gone 25 days out of the month lol

We have a headboard that I fixed up from a "trailer trash" looking thing. I painted it kettle black and covered cardboard with fabric to match my room and tacked it into the wooden inserts and finished it with trim.
