I'm not a very "girlie" girl. I'm very casual and only dress up on special occasions. I don't like pink, I'm more of a dark green, black, brown type person. But when I was pregnant with my twin boys, I suddenly had a liking towards pink and more feminine things. I was in to that stuff even before I knew they were boys. I felt they were boys, but I didn't know it until the Big U/S.

Could my interest in girlie things including the color pink be due to the need to keep some estrogen in the mix? Was that a sign that I was having boys? Now that they are born, I'm back to mostly what I liked before (no make-up, casual clothes, etc...), though I have a new respect for pink. Not the bright pink and magenta type pinks, but now mauve has become one of my favorite colors. The only other girls in my house are my dogs. The rest are all boys. Could my liking of Mauve be my attempt of having something female-ish in the house?

...just passing thoughts about where I stand in this home and some changes to my personal tastes that occurred during and after this pregnancy.

That is very interesting and a nice take on things. It could very well be.

For me it seems the more boys I get the more girly I become lol. Even DH noticed that when I was pregnant with Hunter I started making sure I put on make up and did my hair before we left the house. I've let my nails grow out and actually started caring what they lookd like, Dh said he knew I had "turned" when I bought two pairs of shoes in 1 month LOL! I never buy shoes... ever. My mom buys me shoes every year and I've never bought my own since I was living with her! So it was really strange of me to do (Never cared about shoes!)! He said, "aw crap, now you're gonna get expensive" LOL!

Hmm. I haven't noticed any difference with this pregnancy versus the one with Olivia that way, but I'm not a very girly girl either.
