Yesterday I took a basket of folded laundry into the bedroom to put it away and when I opened the closet there was a mess for me - halloween costumes not put away and shirts that had fallen down so I start picking them up and a lizard jumped out right onto my chest and of course I screamed and knocked it off and then it continued to jump around the bedroom and I was trying to catch it without getting it on me so I told Joe to bring me the cat (she's a good hunter!) and he brought her in and it was like 30 minutes of me screaming and trying to get the lizard cornered with the cat and this lizard was a mega jumper, it was horrific lol. I guess my phone had rang and Joe answered it and when I finally caught the lizard (thanks to the cat getting it cornered) I looked up and there were my boys and Joe was on the phone, all laughing hysterically with my mom about what they were watching and she was hearing. My mom said she really enjoyed it was like being at our house again haha. She said she asked him what was going on and he said, "there is a lizard and moms screaming like a little girl" haha Yep! I'm actually surprised they didn't video it and send to facebook or something!!
The lizard was scared but made it outside unharmed. The cat got a treat, she's not real friendly but she does her job well lol.
Yes, she was cracking up. She knows how I am about anything like that getting in the house, I just don't do spiders/bugs/small creatures very well lol. Lizards are hard too, a spider I can just hit with the raid and wait till it dies to get it cleaned up but a lizard I have to catch.
I pretty much did at first but I've gotten used to it now, lizards and frogs get in the house all the time. Spiders too, BIG ones! It's been better since we got this cat though, she catches and eats everything lol.
