I keep thinking oh I need to do this now and then I never get around to it! Hunter is to that age where I can't take him shopping with me because he'll tell the others what I bought and the only day I can get out without kids is Sunday and we're always out doing something so it just hasn't happened!
I have barely put thought toward what we will get the kids for Christmas. This year it will be kept very simple though. I made my SIL an apron and have picked a couple things for the grandparents to get for my kids but thats it.
I have my lists made, we are really cutting back this year, the last few years we've went quite overboard on Christmas and it just starts to make me not like the holidays because it just feels like all it's about is spending money. This year we've made lists for the kids and we've cut out a lot of the toys - the little two will still get mostly toys because at their age that's about all they want. But my older two will get some things I know they want and some things I know they need but nothing crazy.
