Anyone else getting a jump start on thanksgiving dinner?
I made my pie crust yesterday and then baked my pie today, I'm going to do my pumpkin roll later - both are just better after chilling over night. I'm also going to make my cranberry sauce today and I need to make my bread crumbs. Might boil my eggs (deviled eggs, almost forgot about those!) and I'm going to get cinnamon rolls ready tonight so I can just toss them in the oven in the morning so the boys have a little treat for breakfast!
I made my pumpkin pies Wednesday night which allowed me to eat an uninterrupted meal with my family. Usually, I make the pie last so it will be fresh but end up having to get up to check them and get them out of the oven. This year was really nice. I got to be the last one eating because I wouldn't stop talking, not because I didn't have a chance to eat while everyone else did.
