Do you "need" caffeine? If so, how do you get yours? Do you let your son drink caffeine?

I use one cup of caffeinated tea each morning to help prevent my migraines.

I try to limit my caffeine consumption to 1 cup of coffee in the morning. Today, though, I splurged and I'm drinking a DP now. yum.
I let my kids drink caffeinated drinks, but very rarely.

I'd like to quit drinking coffee, but it doesn't happen yet.

The 21 year old sometimes comes over for coffee in the mornings, and the five year old gets little sips.

I have tried to give up coffee...but I like it too much! I was very disappointed this morning to find I didn't have any creamer. So, I skipped it.

um, if i could hook an IV into my arm with caffeine i so would lol. i NEED it. but with that being said, i really don't let the boys have any. Kale never really was interested in pop or coffee. he will drink hot cocoa and call it coffee.

keegan on the other hand, is ALWAYS sneaking my pop or iced coffee. i actually caught him drinking out of my cup, then he will look at me and say 'its good pop'. little stinker.

I drink coffee in the mornings here and there to keep headaches at bay. Jaiken gets soda on occasion and that's it.

For those of you who gave up caffeine, how hard was it?

For me giving up caffeine was easy because when I drank it I would have anxiety attacks. I did some reading and found out that caffeine is one thing that can cause that. I miss dr. pepper dearly though.
I still drink coffee though because to me decaf tastes the same.
