Where do you draw the line between bullying and boys will be boys?

Kolby came home from school Friday...mad...no irate. There's a group of boys who play football everyday on the playground. A couple of the other boys on the other team say things to him like "Why do you play?" and "Why do you even think you're good at football?" One player will run and elbow him and another boy in the stomach. He's afraid that if he complains, the teachers will take away the game altogether. My feelings are who the heck do these boys think they are? WHY do you have to be 'good' at football to play a school yard game? I tell him to not let it get to him and to laugh it off and that will make them realize that it doesn't bother him; but Kolby is too much like his Daddy (and me) and he wears his feeling right out on the open. So, I'm not real sure how to handle it. WWYD?

That's really tough I'm not sure what I'd do. Jaiken gets teased at school but seems to just let it slide right off him.

He went back to school the following Monday and all was great. They're back to playing without any problems.
