My baby, Braeden, has a swollen penis. Any clue as to what may have caused this? Please help!

Is your son circumsized or uncircumsized? It could be the diaper irratating him. Is it just red around the tip or is the whole thing swollen?

He's circumcised. It's like the head of the penis. It looks erect and big. (I'm not sure how else to describe it?)

I know nothing about circumcision so I'm no help on that if it's due to it. Hopefully someone can help you out. Maybe call the ped. to ask?

How long ago was the circ done? I asked my gf and she said if it was done recently it could be irritated and to give tylenol and it should bring the swelling down. Is he peeing normally? How long has it been swollen? If the swelling doesn't go down i would take him to see your dr to see just for you piece of mind.

Does it seem to be bothering him?? If you had it done before he left the hospital then it would have been done about 6 weeks ago. You just don't want it to get infected. I would call your pedi and ask them.
