We aren't telling until thanksgiving. They live an hour and a half away, we see them maybe 5-6 times a year total, and we are not overly close. DH came home yesterday and said she called him at work to ask if we were pregnant. She could feel it. Lol. DH told her he had no idea. Weird? 3 days after a BFP and she decided to call? Okay. Lol.
My aunt, grandma, and I have been having baby dreams the last month and I got my BFP. I always have pregnant dreams before my BFPs...then again, I also have random prego dreams when I'm not pregnant lol
We aren't really close and I want to tell everyone. Dh is the one who wants to wait. He thinks it'll be special. I would have told everyone after my blood test had it been up to me. Lol
Edit: I don't think my first sentence made sense. We aren't close to his parents. I still would have told her though. Dh's brother has one child, a boy that's 13 and in laws are super excited for more grand babies. It'll be my parents first grandchild. so of course I'm super excited
I know how you feel, I got my "doctor confirmation" today and I want to tell everyone too! I think we might end up telling people early, we are horrible at keeping our mouths shut about news like this! lol
That's so wierd. FMIL did something similar. The night we found out we had to go over to her house to pick something up and later on she told FFIL that there was somthing up with us. That we were acting strange. We were planning on waiting until Thanksgiving too.
"Shake it up now, Sugaree. I'll meet you at the Jubilee. And if that Jubilee don't come. Maybe I'll meet you on the run."
My mom is the same way! She always seems to know when I am pregnant. This time around she said she had a dream about pregnancy but my brother and his girlfriend are having a baby also and already told her. So she is satisfied her dream was strictly about them which allows me to hold out till the last possible minute before i tell her.
i had a similar experience. we went over to MILs last friday to share the news. she said she knew it b/c she sensed it the previous saturday when she saw me (the day after i got my BFP, 10 DPO). she also told me she saw my profile and saw a bump. um, less than 4 weeks pregnant. thanks for calling me fat, lady.
My Mom is the same way. She kept asking if I was OK on Sunday. She said something wasn't right. I ended up telling her. We told my parents and DH's parents. I think it is ok for them to know. I go see the doc on Monday and I am hoping to tell my 7 year old around Thanksgiving.
