I feel like I'm going crazy keeping this a secret. I want to announce so bad! Normally I would announce as soon as I got a positive but I had gotten indents before that I announced (which was super embarrassing, as you might imagine). While I know for a fact that I'm really pregnant, I'm still hesitant to announce because I don't want people to think I'm weird for announcing at 4 weeks

Anyone else? Or am I just a weirdo?

I don't think you're a weirdo. I've been like that with the first 2. This time, I'm not looking forward to telling anyone but my kids. BUT will wait for awhile, dh and I like having our secret. Heck I was able to keep the wraps of our son's gender from 14-40.3 weeks, so I think I can handle this

Everyone knows at work. Run off to the bathroom one too many times and someone asks questions, and gossip spreads like a wildfire at my work.

Most of my family know too, haha.

Regarding people thinking you're weird, they already think that of me, so I guess it can just add to my weirdness.

I was trying to hold it in, but I just couldn't. I told my mom and a couple of my closest girlfriends. I'm waiting until I know this is real before I start telling my family. I think xmas will be a good time to tell them.

I went to work today thinking I was going to tell one co-worker only because we share the same room. Well...that turned into 3 because at one point I started crying for no reason and they figured it out! I am sooo ready to put it on FB but I feel like it might be to early. My hubby & I decided we are going to wait until New Years to give out the news!

Oh the emotions. DH and I watched an episode of a baby story on ttc last night. I cried. I was slightly embarrassed. Lol

We told a close friend of mine and DH's family since I'm going to be with them in a couple weeks for the whole weekend while DH is gone hunting... No one else knows and I'm not ready to let anyone else know.

I got a faint BFP today and already want to shout from the rooftops. I've only told some of my online mommy friends though. We've decided that we're going to wait awhile before announcing to family and friends. We like having our little secret.

He is ready to tell everyone. I know that he's already spilled the beans to a friend of his. My BFF knows (she may or may not have known before he did) so we're even. I wanted to wait until Christmas to tell the family, but he can't wait. We compromised on Thanksgiving.

Yes, I am. But I am going to wait. Our goal is Thanksgiving, or at least until my appointment on the 19th. With my son we accidentally announced it way, way early (about 4 weeks along) because based on my cycle I should've been farther along than I was, but luckily everything turned out fine. This time I am being more cautious. Plus I think a Thanksgiving announcement would be cool .

I kinda...sorta...announced yesterday on Facebook lol But since most of my family lives away from me, I wouldn't have been able to tell them in purpose til Christmas anyway. And my in-laws don't know because they aren't on Facebook.

Besides, I'm 4 weeks and 4 days. That's PRACTICALLY 5 weeks

I'm way to nervous to spill the beans early after our last loss. I'm hoping to book an appt for 8-9weeks and we will tell family after that if things look ok and then work and Facebook once we hit 12 weeks.

I have a few people I really really want to tell, but I am holding back for personal reasons. Ideally, I'd love to wait to share the news until I'm about 18 weeks, but I have a feeling I'll be showing before then!

My husband and I have told both our immediate families. This baby will be a first grandchild on both sides of the family so knowing how they are, they'd be mad if we waited to tell them. However, we will wait until just before Christmas to announce it at work or on FB. I have a pretty small frame, though, so I think I'll probably start showing sooner than that. I already feel like my pants are a bit snug.

I was wondering why you guys were waiting until later to announce on Facebook until I remembered most people use it for distant friends, rather than to keep up with relatives like I do lol
