I had my gallbladder taken out 6 years ago and ever since then, I have been on Omeprazole to treat reflux and heartburn.
I stopped taking it the day I got the positive test and I am suffering terribly. My heartburn is so bad and my esophagus is so irritated that I can't drink hot or carbonated beverages without severe pain.
Has anyone experienced this? Were you able to take a stomach pill while pregnant?
I had my gallbladder removed when #3 was 5 months old and haven't had much problems with it since then. I had horrible problems before then and was on medication for heartburn while pregnant with #3. I would call your OB asap.

I'm sorry to hear about the heartburn and acid reflux. I would call your OB but I was told with DS3 that I could take Omeprazole or Zantac. I ended up on Zantac because it worked better for me and I took the 75 mg dose. Hope things get better.
