All my coworkers have left for the day, so I am enjoying a minute of alone time/message board time. What I should be doing is leaving so I can pick up some dinner, and gather all of my children before 6, but the message board is just too fun. Must leave now, I can come back when the babies are in bed.... ok, I'm really leaving, TTFN!

I'm thinking I should be hanging clean laundry up and putting it away, putting dishes in the dishwasher, and taking shower instead of sitting on the internet!

I'm thinking that I shouldn't have eaten that giant salad and huge helping of spaghetti. Lying in bed now hoping not to throw up...

I'm trying to think of what to make for dinner. I want to eat everything in sight and then as soon as I take a bite of anything its not what I want.

I'm laughing because I just now saw a screenshot of that girl who claimed that she was moving to Australia because she agrees with our "Christian male president". I know, I'm a little late on this one, but my goodness, funny funny stuff.

I find this to be kinda funny. Especially since my husband has been telling everybody he plans on moving to Australia due to our newly re-elected president.

Let him know that we have universal health care, strict gun control, legal abortion in all states and territories (it does vary though, some states allow it only for medical (physical or psychological) reasons, but others, like Victoria, where I live, it is on request, no reason necessary), evolution is mandatory curriculum in all schools, including religious schools, we have many openly gay politicians in high levels of government and we are currently run by an Atheist woman living in an defacto relationship with a hairdresser who recently stood up in parliament and accused the opposition leader of being a misogynist. We are pretty much everything that the Republican party would not approve of.

Might change his mind just a little.

I hope you don't mind but my uncle was telling me the other day he was thinking of moving to Australia (how did australia become the place to go? I hear it is beautiful but it seems to have come out of no where and for so many people... anyway...) so I shared your quote with him.. it probably will change his mind..lol

I bet it's all our weird and wonderful creatures.

Admit it, you hear of a platypus and you immediately want to come over and see this ridiculous creature.

And of course it doesn't bother me, share away.

Hahaha, yeah there was lots of tweets from Republicans about moving to Canada as well. Not sure why as we are similar to the list above. But I was reading an article that when Bush was elected it wasnt all talk and US/Canada immigration lawyers fielded plenty of calls from upset Democrats...at least that makes sense!

Haha this is awesome. I haven't got a chance to show him this yet. He's in the shower singing Taylor Swift songs... But I already know he would not be happy with the strict gun control, oh nooo, he really likes his guns. Sometimes I feel like we have a weapons arsenal lol. But I guess that comes with the territory of being in the military.

But personally I find evolution to be pretty interesting. I only spent maybe a week at the most learning evolution in middle school. It would be cool if it was more of a curriculum here, maybe like an extracurricular (sp?) class that you can take in high school. Just not mandatory, too many crossing religious beliefs and all the such.

well here ends my rant lol

UPDATE: He still wants to move to Australia...smh. Good try though lol
