Anyone getting food cravings and/or aversions, what are they?

Currently I cannot stand the smell of bananas. I love them and used to eat one a day, but now the smell of them makes me gag.

Yesterday I had my first real craving. I was at the shops on the way home from work and had this insane need for a slice of margherita pizza. My train was in 10mins so I actually sprinted to the food court (on the other side of the building) and back to buy a slice of pizza to eat on the train.

Ohhh yeah I'm craving cinnabon cinnamon rolls. It's a good thing we don't have one here because I'd probably eat one daily (or two or three). Mmmmm. I got one last weekend and it was SOOOOOO good. I was savoring it.

No real aversions yet, but nothing really sounds good lately.

I too have been craving cinnamon rolls, the gooey sugar sauce, yum! I've been good and have stayed away but I feel I might cave in soon. As for aversions, I usually eat a salad for lunch, but the thought of eating lettuce or anything green just disgusts me.

I am mainly having aversions. Nothing sounds good. I have to force myself to eat so I don't get sick.

Not too much here. However, we did go to a pasta dinner the other night and I couldn't wait to get out of there and just couldn't eat it.

No real 'aversions,' I just have a really hard time eating I feel like I'm always full and just can't stand the thought of another bite.

The only thing that seems to go down without a fight is regular Pepsi- which I know is awful, so I try to limit it to a mouthful every now and then.

My biggest aversion is anything sugary without a salty or spicy element. Molasses cookies and salted caramels are fine, but straight up chocolate doesn't interest me.

Cravings are salty foods and meat. I'm not a big red meat eater, but I've been craving it nonstop since before I even knew I was pregnant.

No aversions yet...

I have been craving bland foods...
Milk, cheese, bread, and raisin bran cereal with the raisins picked out...

The weirdest craving I think I have ever had was when I was pregnant with DD - I wanted white rice with chocolate syrup.
I never did dare to try it though.

Fruit has tasted better than usual to me, much more flavorful, almost spicy. I also like pickles again! Ironically I loved pickles until I got pregnant with DS, and never really got back into eating them until now. In general I'm much more interested in healthy food this time around; with DS I really struggled to eat vegetables and now I have no trouble. Not to say it's all smooth sailing - my gag reflex is triggered now and then (especially with oatmeal), and I feel really full or a little sick after I eat sometimes, even though I was hungry for the food.

None of this has hit me yet! With my DD I wanted cereal all.the.time! And it didn't even have to be a certain kind! I could eat like 3 bowls of cereal a day.

I'm craving cheetos which is something I've never really liked before.

I'm right there with two of you ladies on the Cinnabon cravings, but I'm sure it's also because Burger King makes them now and I'm always seeing the commercial for it!

I'm almost always hungry, but I can't overeat any more. I only want a little bit of something and then I want to move on to the next thing.

I also like condiments a lot right now. If it can be dipped or spread, I want it!

i'm having hard time eating anything! the only foods i can stomach are plain bagels, original flavor goldfish crackers (good thing i buy them in bulk for DS!), and pasta. that is it. and i can only keep those down b/c of zofran.

i normally have the biggest sweet tooth ever, but the thought of anything sweet makes me want to gag. oh, and i attempted to eat homemade chicken noodle soup the other night and had to spit my only bite of chicken into the sink so i didn't throw up. hopefully this will calm by 2nd trimester b/c it's not good to eat NO protein at all for weeks on end.

I can understand the chips and ice cream thing. When I was little my favourite thing from McDonalds was fries dipped in chocolate sundae. My Mum thought it was disgusting.

I guess it would be sort of like an... undercooked chocolate rice pudding?

Last night I was at a baby shower and we had all these amazing desserts, I ate one piece of lemon shortbread and a bite sized chocolate brownie and I was done. I felt like I had just eaten a bag of sugar with a spoon. I can't handle sweets right now I guess.

I ordered me some fried pickles from the local diner this afternoon. Um, SOOOO delish. I'm not big into sweets either, I usually love a bowl of ice cream while pregnant (esp with the boys), this time, I don't want any.

nothing has hit me yet, but i do notice i get full an feel full faster and for a longer time. i also have the constant unsettled feeling, i'm guessing soon here that will turn into full blown MS... there goes keeping this under wraps for as long as possible.

im really excited to see what I crave, when on my period i crave salt, cheese and pasta! oh but on the day I think i felt implantation i wanted chili really bad and i dont really like chili, i wonder i im going to go the spicy route...

i have bene doing WW for the last month and plan to continue it loosely with DR permission while PG so cravings will be rough if they are bad.

Haven't had any aversions yet, but i've been craving red meat, especially steak! I usually don't eat a lot of red meat. I had 2 this week and DP is cooking another tomorrow per my request.
