Do you cook the whole shebang or are you just asked to bring a dish.

My mother in law called and asked me to bring rolls....yup....rolls....like I'm too stupid to bring anything else. LOL. AND.....real butter, because noone will eat anything but real butter. That was what I was told. HAHA......

Looks like you got your work cut out for you! LOL
Since we don't have family here, it's been tradition for the 3 of us (DH, Me & our 5 year old) to go to our favorite restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. Then we go to a movie!

We have a big get together at my parents house and I will probably bring a green bean casserole. A few days after Thanksgiving I make a Thanksgiving dinner for me and the kids. Still trying to get my menu together but I think this is going to be it.
Turkey
Dressing
Gravy
Mashed potatoes
green bean casserole
candied yams
corn
rolls
pie

The whole thing is at my house, but DH does the majority of the cooking, it's pretty low stress for me.

I use to just got to my mom's but since I got married I cook the whole thing myself for the hubby and kids. Sometimes I think my mom feels a little sad that she isn't cooking for everyone anymore but I guess when you get your own family you should start your own traditions. That's just my opinion. We may at least go by her house that day so the grandkids can see her. Oh and she does cook us sweet potato pies, lol. I love hers and just can't seem to make them taste like hers do.

We are having it at my mom's house. My sister and I usually go over the day before or that day and help her cook everything. This year though I am doing the turkey at my house. I will still go and help make everything else though.

I host about 25 people at my house and do the majority of the cooking. This year Thanksgiving dinner is combined with Hubby's grandpa's 90th birthday celebration, so I have to do cake, decorations, favors, etc. too. Hope morning sickness stays away until after the holiday!
