Has anybody had a prenatal massage yet or had one with a previous pregnancy? If so, how soon do you go and what exactly do they massage? lol I have been having alot of lower back pain lately which must be a new symptom so I was thinking about getting one sometime soon!
I have not. Every doctor or midwife i have seen for any of my pregnancies have referred me to chiropractors. Also I always get a stern talking to from my midwife about keeping good posture to help with my back pain.
I have had them with DS3. The farther along you are they prop you up on your back so that you're not laying flat and they have you roll to either side but it's like a normal massage otherwise. If you go right now, you'll still be able to lay on your tummy but they'll be more careful and not push so hard and probably avoid a lot of pressure points.
i had one with helena...towards the end of my pregnancy....she pushed on all those "pressure points" that are supposed to induce labor..hahaha didnt work! but i was nice and relaxed and my back didnt hurt so bad for a while
