Hey ladies!

Since my ER visit on Sunday I have been taking my Zofran around the clock... Today however it seems to have stopped working. I can't keep much of anything down and when I called my office they recommended that I go back to the ER if I can't keep anything down. They also switched my Zofran to phenergan... Anyone taking this with good results? Anyone have Zofran not work for them? I just want to feel normal. I do miss you ladies but I have been coming right home from work and trying to go to bed because when I am sleeping I don't have to deal with nausea or puke!

I would love to get sleep as much as possible. Good plan. I have no idea about the meds. Hope something works.

I've been on Zofran for two weeks now with very limited improvement in my nausea and vomiting. I do believe I am tetering on the brink of HG. I feel like such a whiner calling my OB's office but I need a new solution for feeling at least a little better. I can't function or take care of my children feeling the way that I do right now.

At my first visit my dr gave me the prescription for zofran, but said that she's seen the combo of unisom and vit B6 work better, so that may be worth a shot. They're over the counter.

zofran worked great for me the first few days. i've been on it for a month now. it helps stop my vomiting and allows me to eat, but i'm still nauseous. just try to keep pushing fluids. if you stay hydrated, you and baby will be fine. if you can't keep water down, def go to the ER!

oh, I was also told during my first pregnancy when I had trouble keeping water down, to mix it with a little bit of gatorade. For some reason that helped and kept me out of the ER a couple times!

Nothing worked for me in my 1st pregnancy. I tried everything, even sea bands for my wrists lol I did the same as you, came home from work, went straight to bed because I was so sick. The only thing that made it better was the approach of my 2nd trimester. I think right around the 2nd trimester I started feeling a lot better. I hope you feel better soon

Thanks ladies,
I get to lay in bed all day today as my doctor advised me to stay out of work for the next two or three days. I had already tried the unisom b6 combo and that wasn't doing anything. Uggggg.... What we won't do for a sweet little baby!

My last pregnancy was like that and the zofran wasn't magic for me either. I switched to phenegran and it helped me to move between the 2 of them but I still had horrible days. I would give it a shot though. I hope it starts to get better soon.

The zofran has stopped working for me... I'm lucky most days to get something solid to eat... I figure if I can at least stay hydrated that's the best thing... I'll be talking to the NP tonight about figuring something else out...

They gave me phernergan at treat and release and it sent me for such a loop, I don't plan on touching it again unless I'm on my death bed. It worked but it also turned me into a shivering, droopy eyed zombie!
