My docs office called me last week with my blood work results and she told me everything was fine except my thyroid came back abnormal. She assured me I shouldn't worry about it right now because some women get this result in early pregnancy because hormones are so out of whack. She said they will take more blood at my next appointment and test it again and it will most likely come back normal but if not then we will look into it more. I figure she knows what she's talking about so I'm not worrying about it but just wondering if any of you ladies have had this happen??

I have never had it but hopefully someone else will be able to share with you their experience with it. Good for you, for not getting all worried about it but still wanting to learn more about it just in case. Hang in there mama your doc sounds confident with her reply about your results.

You just made me realize no one ever called me back with the results of my initial blood work from a couple of weeks ago. . .

Hope everything goes well with your next blood test!

Some offices only call if something is "off" so hopefully that means everything is fine for you! And thank you I really hope it all goes well too!

I had thyroid issues with 2nd pregnancy. It is common. Mine never got bad enough for them to do anything about it.

I haven't had any experience with it, but I'm hoping it comes back just fine next time!

writergurrl - good to know!! I'm thinking that's all this is because I've never had any health issues in my life!
