It's gossip, so I don't know exactly how true it is, but apparently a former friend (and I emphasise the word former here) apparently recently questioned "If Kiam's baby is a girl, would it be... you know... 'safe' in their house?"

Why would a girl not be safe in my house? Well, I suspect, given this individual's very open stance on... well basically anything that she isn't (race, religion, sexuality, gender, feminism, and so on) this would be because I am openly bisexual.

I am sorry, but can someone please explain to me how having dated females my age in the past makes me a paedophile intent on incest how?

It doesn't. Period. End of story. She needs to be educated on what a pedophile is, and how it isn't remotely related to bisexuality or homosexuality.

This comes from a progressive Catholic girl with plenty of gay friends/couples who have children of their own (and are **** good parents)!
tela likes this.

Honestly? I think some people project their feelings onto other people. Isn't it strange that a lot of politicians who are really against gay people end up having same-sex nookie on the side? Personally I think it's sick that her mind went there first.

Wow!! I am sorry she is saying stuff like that!! If that is her meaning it just doesn't make any since. It's like saying since she is heterosexual a boy wouldn't be safe in her house....

Wow, do you think she was insinuating that you would do something to your child? or that you might "turn" your child gay/bi? I have no patience for people like that!

Wow... There's a reason why she's a "former friend"... I have no tolerance for people like that.

Wow that is way rude and out of line for what is probably for the best former "friend" to say.

That's so dumb. So does that mean that since heterosexual women are attracted to males, that their baby boys aren't "safe" in their own houses either?

That is a HORRIBLE thing for a person to think/say about another just because of sexual preference. I'm so sorry.

EXACTLY!

It makes no sense. Granted, this individual became a 'former' friend when we were one year lut of high school and I was dating a guy from Sri Lanka, and she told me "Eww if you will have babies together they will smell like curry"

So she generally is an illogical, offensive person.

This is exactly what I was thinking, but it doesn't sound like she's the sort of person that logic applies to. At least it's an obviously ridiculous thing to say so she's the one who ends up looking like an idiot.

Also, you should remember that it's just gossip so maybe it's not even true and if it is you can be frustrated for a few minutes, but after that you've got better things to think about (like what a great mom you're going to be!).
