Last I read, a gain of 5-10lbs is normal by 17-18 weeks...I'm sitting right at my ppreg weight right now after gaining back 7lbs in the last 2 weeks. I'm trying not to stress about it either but in my head its too quick for me.

I think that's perfectly fine..baby has grown a lot lately & you're not overweight to start so I wouldn't worry!

I agree I think your weight gain is fine and your body probably is playing catch up some.

Yep, probably just your body playing catch-up! Don't worry... your total weight gain is still less than mine!

I'm in the exact same boat. I was 119 pre pregnancy and have been jumping from 127-131 depending on the time of day...I keep forgetting to weigh myself first thing in the morning.

Perfectly normal as everyone has said...I am trying to remind myself that as well. DH keeps telling me, you are pregnant, you are supposed to gain weight!

Glad I'm not the only one! I just gained 4 lb in a week and a half, but I had an initial weight loss as well.

i'm in the same boat! i started at 132, dropped a bit with m/s and now at 19 weeks am up to 141, all gained in the last month!!! i asked my OB if my 2-3 lbs/week is concerning, and he said my body is catching up. i'm still only up a net of 9 lbs, so within normal range. the only other thing he said is to watch my diet to be sure i don't continue to gain 2-3 lbs/week!!!

When I lost a bunch of weight with DD, when I started gaining, it all came on fast to catch up! But then in the end I was only 20lbs above pre preg weight.

So it seems I am not alone and I am thankful for that. So I know I shouldnt ALWAYS gain 2-3lb a week. With Serenity I gained 16lb in the whole pregnancy but I was alot younger (24/25) than I am now. I didn't weigh weekly back then though.

So its ok at the moment as its playing catch up.. cool. Well I hope we all gain healthy weight and look amazing 6 months PP lol xxx love yall x
