I had an appt with my regular doctor today. I didn't want to wait 2 weeks for my next OB appt (and they seem to have the "we don't have to do everything for you because you have Tricare" attitude.)
Anyways I have been having issues with my allergies. OB says try Claritan, doesn't do crap for me. To which my sister told me it never worked for her and she took Sudafed all of her pregnancies (as did my mom I guess.) I asked them at Target what I could take being pregnant and she gave me the generic Sudafed. And ding ding, thankfully I've only been taking it a week but my doc today said "No!" Which is what I kept figuring. So, onto Zyrtec to see if that helps.
They also did some blood draws because I am extremely tired. So, we'll see if it's a vitamin deficiency.
And side note, I was weighed at the doc today, I'm at 220 This is what I topped out at my pregnancy with DD. In the last week or two I think I have gained 4 lbs! Granted up until 18 weeks I had only gained 4 lbs. I just don't want/need to gain much more.

Sorry! It sucks to gain all the baby weight but it'll come off. As for the allergies I'm not allowed to take zyrtec but sudafed is on my safe list. Weird...... hope you find something that works.
Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

Try not to stress the weight too much! Remember that what's important is that baby is healthy you can worry about the weight later <3
Our little number two, Leonardo, was born July 26, 2013. Welcome baby Leo!

Hugs! Sudafed is on my safe list too. As for the weight gain I'm sure you'll lose it quickly! I've gained way more than 8 pounds already, way more lol. I had a goal but I'm sure I'll be going over it :/ Hope you are able to find something that will help your allergies. Ohand that's one of the things I don't like about tricare, the attitude that some offices seem to have about it

I'm at the same weight as you and I understand the frustration with it. But I bet we will kick butt after these babies are born and lose it quickly!

Sudafed is on my list, too! I actually took one today. I had been taking Claritin but it hasn't done anything to help me
What's helped clear me out the most was eating some spicy new mexican food for lunch! cleared me right up!
& I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about your weight gain so far.. we're so helpless about it when we're pregnant!! and we're already half way done & it sounds like you are doing great so far.

I think that we will all have to do some kind of "get back into shape" group after our babies. Until then, I wouldn't stress too much about the weight gain. I hope the new meds help out and you start to feel better!

It's just hard because I've never seen a number bigger than this before. It was really hard to lose the weight with my daughter. Then I injured my leg and gained moat of it back before getting pregnant
