Along the lines with my last cloth diapering question....

I plan on getting a new washer and dryer. I know that top load washers work best for the wash- but I really need a front loader so I can stack them. I hate the look and size of attached stacked washer dryer combos.

Are there any front load washers that you use and love? Any that you had to replace so I can stay clear of them?

Sorry, I have a top loader. It's also one that CAN be stackable, we just don't have it stacked.

Which one is that? That sounds interesting.

We have a front loading Samsung set that I absolutely love. It has every setting I could possibly want/need and it works better than any other set I've had. It also has a large capacity so I can throw everything in and it's energy efficient. The only problem I have is that I bought the set on the East coast so the dryer has gas hookups instead of electric. Our place now does not have a gas hookup available so our nice dryer is just sitting unused in the garage. I do use the washer from the set though.
Be sure to check the type of hookups you have and the measurements of your space.
